I really wanted to like this player but the more I use it the more I hate it. First off Apples insistance on not letting you download anything without buying it through iTunes is a joke. Even media that is compatable requires the use of iTunes or the purchase of an application from iThieves.
Try to dowmload an audio book from the library and 1 chapter downloads to the device in the time I could transfer 4 books to any other device. And I'm not exaggerating either. I should have known when someone that will pay $15 a month to join audio books so they could buy audio titles at full price sold me on this product.
Audio playback is okay. Not any better than Zune and some other player in the same price range. Took the zune back and likely this is going back too! Just not worth the money.
I have to pick up my five year old palm tx to do most of the things I wanted to use this device for. And since I already have a small zune that will download more than one full audio book an hour I'm not wasting my time with it.
I'd give it to my daughter but I'm not that mean.
